What's the difference between normal silver and nano silver?
It's all about surface area.
Normal silver is antibacterial too, but there's no effective way to use it in its metal form on a commercial scale. It would be too expensive for a start because silver is a rare metal.
Nano silver is exactly the same metal in the form of a super fine dust where the particles of silver have diameters measured in billionths of a meter. At this scale, a very high percentage of the silver atoms are on the surface of the particles where they can interact with bacteria, fungi and viruses killing them or preventing them from reproducing.
